Vol.1 bears bears a leaf with a frontispiece portrait of James II. A second leaf depicts an octagonal temple named "Theatrum Cutlerianum - Systema anatomicum" on the recto, with a portrait of the author on the verso.
Vol.1 has an initial license-to-print leaf.
With dedications inserted before various chapters, interrupting pagination and register.
